USMLE Step Prep History
USMLE Step Prep was created by Dr. Stephen Fitzmeyer while in Medical School in 2003. He created this site as a personal study aid for the USMLE Step 1. Dr. Fitzmeyer made the site availabe to his medical school classmates and they spread the word to their friends. The first year, USMLE Step Prep received over 14 million hits. Since 2003, USMLE Step Prep has become one of the most trafficed USMLE sites on the web.
In 2010 USMLE Step Prep received a complete makeover changing its look and adding more features.
